Beautiful Brody – What a Good Boy You Are!
Meet Brody, a gentle soul who’s captured all our hearts. He weighs in at a healthy 78 pounds and is estimated to be around 8 years old.
Brody’s story is one of heartbreak and hope. It’s believed he was struck by a car and left on the side of the road, resulting in the loss of function in his rear right leg. Despite this painful past, Brody’s spirit has never wavered. He’s currently thriving in foster care, where he’s showered with love, comfort, and the special attention he so deeply deserves.
Our veterinary team is consulting with specialists to determine whether rear leg amputation may help improve his mobility and overall quality of life. Through it all, Brody remains the sweetest, most resilient boy friendly with humans and other dogs alike, and always eager to give and receive affection.
His adorable crinkled ears tell their own story a result of repeated ear infections before he came to Linda in 2022. Now, those same ears perk up for his favorite things: ear scratches, belly rubs, kisses on the nose, and words of praise.
Brody’s foster mom describes him as smart, sassy, goofy, adaptive, and incredibly chill. He’s house-trained, uses his harness beautifully, and lets you know when he needs to go outside with a polite little yap. He enjoys being bathed, groomed, and loved and he gives that love back tenfold.
In the right home, this amazing boy will continue to flourish and live a happy, full life.
